Newsletter 17th April 2026

Class 1 have had a farm focus this week. They have enjoyed exploring
fruit and vegetables and how they grow to start their DT project
Class 2 baked cake on their fire in their forest school lesson. They also
burnt miniature houses, recreating the Great Fire of London.
Class 3 have started to read ‘Cloud, tea, monkeys’ and the class
became tea tasters for the day, sampling different varieties and
flavours. They also learnt about ‘ripples’ in music and compared that
to the water when they jumped in the swimming pool.
Class 4 have been getting to know our new student Mr Welford,
beginning to explore our new class book about Anne Frank and looking
at multiplying and dividing by hundreds in maths.
