Newsletter 19th January 2024

At this time of year, we can expect to see a rise in seasonal viruses and infections such as COVID-19, flu and norovirus. Under current national guidance parents are encouraged to send children to school if they have mild symptoms such as a runny nose, sore throat, or a slight cough, in order to maintain attendance. We are still taking measures within school to help prevent the spread of infection by encouraging good hygiene and maintaining good airflow in the classrooms. May we also remind you that if you are aware that your child is a little under the weather and may require paracetamol during the school day it is helpful if you can supply this. School Paracetamol is for emergency and unexpected illness during the school day.
