Forest School

Our Forest School Vision

Through trained professional leaders our aim is to guide each child through a stimulating, inspiring, hands-on learning journey in a natural Forest environment. A journey that follows their own self-led learning experiences and reflection and personal learning needs.

By taking part in ongoing and regular sessions in the Forest and natural world, we will provide a holistic pathway with a focus on social, emotional and physical skills. One that develops confidence, independent individuals that can care for and respect themselves, others, and their environment.

All participants will have the opportunity to take part in exciting activities bringing learning to life and making it memorable and enhancing the development of skills such as literacy, oracy, problem solving and listening.

Our forest school is an inclusive and safe space for all participants, families, and educators. To establish a community where nature and the natural world inspire all and forms lifelong connections.

This is the best kind of classroom, It’s a journey through time and space, From the smallest seed to the largest tree, This is a forest and a learning place.

This is the best kind of classroom , Where seasons don’t happen in books. Where the learning is watching and thinking and talking And everyone notices, everyone looks.
